It’s time to take a deep dive into your stash and knit/crochet/weave to help others! This year, The Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas’s mystery-along is a little less mysterious and little more magnanimous. We are asking you to knit/crochet/weave a 7″ by 9″ section that we will send off to Warm Up America to be sewn with other sections to create blankets for those in need. The Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas has both knit and crochet patterns for worsted weight yarn that you can use, or feel free to use any design you like! Don’t like worsted weight yarn, or don’t have any in your stash? That’s ok, just create a 7″ by 9″ section with your yarn of choice. Prefer to make a hat or a scarf? Warm Up America accepts those too! The only rule is to make sure your yarn is washable, please. Added bonus – stash diving will help make room for all the goodies you pick up on the crawl!

Just drop off your completed 7″ by 9″ knit, crochet, or woven sections to Gauge, and the Crawl will gather them all up and ship them off. Feel free to drop them off in the weeks leading up to the crawl. The deadline for drop off is the last day of the crawl, October 14th.

Let’s create a Texas-sized donation, Y’all!
