This sweet light summer shawl is a great first lace project - no purling involved! Just knitting, and a little lace. You will learn how to knit through the front and back of a stitch (increase), how to yarn over (make a hole on purpose!), and how to knit two stitches together (decreasing). Plus learn how to make a picot bind off for a pretty end to your shawl!
Skills: must know how to cast on, knit stitch - good for an advanced or confident beginner to intermediate knitter who is comfortable with keeping track of stitches, and ready to move beyond knit and purl.
Materials: 1 skein KFI Luxury Silk Sport, size 6 32" circular knitting needles , two stitch markers, tapestry needle, row counter or paper and pen to keep track, copy of pattern purchased from Ravlery: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/turbinado
