Tunisian crochet is a fun mix of crochet and knitting! Using a long hook with a stopper on one end, the stitches are picked up and bound off on every row allowing for a completely different fabric than traditional crochet. We will be offering more tunisian classes in the future, so this will be a great time to learn the basic stitches as well as the terminology so that you will be able to interpret other tunisian patterns more easily.
During class you will be making either a small mug rug or a larger spa cloth.
Materials: You will need a cotton yarn in either Dk weight with a size H/8 tunisian hook, or worsted weight with a size I/9 tunisian hook. Pattern will be provided with class.
