Take your crochet skills to the next level with some three dimension shaping!

What do cute creatures and cacti have in common? They are all basic shapes that are joined together to form adorable creations. In this 2 hour workshop we will be learning the basics of Amigurumi by creating a sphere, cone and cylinder. These shapes open a world of possibilities! We will also cover how to attach plastic safety eyes and how to piece the individual parts together. Stuffing and safety eyes will be provided in class.

Skill required: Intermediate class - must be able to chain, single crochet, be able to read a pattern .

Skills you will learn: magic ring, increasing in single crochet, decreasing in single crochet, how to attach safety eyes, basic hand sewing.

Materials: one skein of light colored non-variegated worsted weight size plied yarns work best, G(4 mm) crochet hook, and a tapestry needle to sew together all the pieces .
